Help JFCS and PRISM celebrate their new home – volunteer at our Ribbon Cutting with Heart!

By Erica Solomon • Development & Community Engagement Coordinator

If you follow JFCS via Facebook, our e-newsletter, or even snail mail, you can probably tell by now that we are very excited about our brand new home in Golden Valley. JFCS and PRISM look forward to their official “housewarming” with the community at a Ribbon Cutting celebration on Tuesday, May 8, and we want you to be a part of it!

Play an extra special role in making the event a success by spending an hour or two volunteering. Volunteers are needed for several roles, with shifts scheduled for the beginning (3:30-4:45 p.m.) and end (5:30-6:30 p.m.) of the Ribbon Cutting. Love being a welcoming face for friends and community members? Have an artistic flair? Ever want to be one of those cool folks that dance on corners with directional signage? Then we have the job for you (and then some)! Whether you’re a JFCS or NextGen Board member, regular JFCS or PRISM volunteer, or just a helpful community member of any age, please consider joining us as a Ribbon Cutting volunteer.

All volunteers will have the opportunity to watch the 4:30 program, featuring leaders and special guests from JFCS, PRISM, and the Jewish and broader communities. To volunteer, please contact Erica Solomon at (952) 417-2124 or esolomon@jfcsmpls.org and include any scheduling or task assignment preferences.
