News Flash! Freedom from Addiction Seder WILL take place this year on Monday, April 13th, starting at 7:30 p.m. “How can that be?” you ask. It’s a “bring your own matzah and grape juice” virtual video Seder on Zoom. This event is hosted by the Jewish Recovery Network (JRN) and Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis (JFCS). The awesome Cantor Audrey Abrams will lead with stories, blessings and songs.
We will celebrate our freedom from addiction and our exodus from slavery. Eat your favorite dinner before you join us and bring yourself, friends and family to this special event. All you need is a computer, smart phone or, for audio only, any phone that can call an area code312 phone number.
-For the basic experience, bring matzah and grape juice to the event.
-For the enhanced experience, also bring a piece of celery, haroset (made of apple, nuts, cinnamon and grape juice), horseradish, romaine lettuce, some salt water, and a Pesach cookie or macaroon to eat during the dinner portion of the seder.
-Or just join us.
There is no cost because you are bringing your own food!
