Business Journal Names JFCS a Great Place to Work!

Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis has been named one of the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal's Great Places to Work for 2006.

JFCS earned this distinction by being one of the top-scoring local businesses on the employee survey in the small category, according to research conducted by Quantum Market Research and the Business Journal.

The Business Journal had a record number of companies (154) qualify for the project this year. JFCS and the agency's fellow 2006 Great Places to Work honorees were listed in the August 18 Business Journal special publication. JFCS received a full-page article in the issue and was recognized at a celebratory luncheon on September 21.

"We are excited to receive this award and it is especially meaningful because it was achieved by creating a work environment that staff acknowledge as valuable, supportive and inspiring," said Judy Halper, JFCS Chief Executive Officer. "When staff feel they are valuable and well cared for, this leads to clients being well served."
