	Legal Services at Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis Clinics and classes are provided by Tubman Family Alliance in collaboration with JFCS of Minneapolis. Family Law Clinic The Family Law Clinic offers participants a chance to meet with a volunteer attorney for 30 minutes to discuss her/his family law issue. Volunteer attorneys explain legal rights and options, review documents, and provide legal advice. Volunteer attorneys do not sign or draft documents, provide on-going legal representation, or make court appearances for Law Clinic clients. Issues for Family Law Clinic are: Divorce Parenting plans (custody and parenting time) Employment Child support Domestic abuse Paternity Post-divorce matters Property disputes Upcoming clinic dates: Tuesday, September 21 Tuesday, October 19 Tuesday, November 16 Tuesday, December 14 Divorce Dollars and Sense is a follow-up to the divorce information class and will provide information about short-term and long-term financial consequences of decisions made during divorce and how to protect your economic future. The family law clinics, divorce information and divorce dollars & sense classes are open to our clients and the general community. Space is very limited and registration is required. JFCS Annual Benefit Saturday, December 4 Downtown Minneapolis Hilton, MN 7:30 p.m. cocktails and mini silent auction 8:30 p.m. show For more than two decades, JFCS has held an Annual Benefit to raise funds in support of quality programs and services. At this year's 22nd Annual Benefit on Saturday, December 4th, we will also be celebrating JFCS's 100th Birthday! This special Annual Benefit, highlighting our centennial, will be held for the first time at the downtown Minneapolis Hilton. For double the laughter, we are headlining two critically acclaimed comedians, Kathleen Madigan and Andy Kindler! This event also features a raffle (tickets can be purchased in advance and you need not be present to win).
