When a financial crisis occurs, JFCS assists agency clients and members of the Jewish community with financial assistance and counseling. JFCS counselors have access to a variety of financial programs depending on each person's needs. Budget management counseling is offered.

Jewish Free Loan Program

JFCS helps members of the Twin Cities Jewish community who face unexpected financial challenges. The program makes it possible for eligible individuals to secure an interest-free loan up to $7,500. A co-signer is required.

There are several funds at JFCS that have been established to assist Jewish youths to participate in various summer experiences. If your child is interested in taking part in a camping or travel experience, or in pursuing another area of special interest in the summer, please contact Laurie Moser at 952-546-4861 or lmoser@jfcsmpls.org for more information or an application. Scholarships are generally available January 2nd and are due back by the end of March of each year. Letter informing applicants of the status of their requests are generally sent out by April 30th.
